What the Belt Actually Drives

For many applications, a reputable coil spring maker recommends replacing springs in pairs. If you put one new spring on one side and leave a tired spring on the other, ride height changes. Ride height changes can alter alignment, tire wear, and even headlamp aim. A customer may call about a low beam headlight bulb and actually need a coil spring and mount. The part that fails is rarely the part to blame.

Bottom Line
